Food was ok, but nothing really to write home about. There were hardly any vegetables in the chow mein, the prawns were dry and everything was a little bland. Service was quick, but the table where you can sit and eat was only there for functionality.

This is my go-to for street-food when I'm lazy to cook in the evenings, and it tastes better than my own cooking. Consistency also helps, I've never had a problem with the quality. A fair price and large portions also helps. Personal favourites are crispy beef and cashew chicken. Oh, and a starter of fried prawns. Good place to pop in to.

Quick service and good was delicious. Probably the most flavourful spring rolls and dumplings I've had in Jhb. Highly recommended

May not have the best sit down atmosphere and parking is difficult at times but the Yung Chen noodles with some extra chilli is amazing!

Best wuntun soup in Johannesburg. 22 April 2022 update. So I have been getting Chinese Takeout from Yung Chen for so many years at least 2 or three times a month and the quality and consistency of the food has never changed. It is excellent and great value for money. We treated ourselves to a selection of chicken corn soup, egg fried rice, plain noodles, beef oyster sauce, black pepper beef and beef chop suey. Each meal as good as the next.. Just live these guys.
